About Tech4Women

This is aimed at giving young women an access to education and a career in ICT, enabling them to provide a sustainable future for themselves while pursuing a meaningful career.

The initiative is aimed at targeting young girls, women with disabilities, school dropout, within the age bracket 17 – 23 years from underprivileged communities, youths who are victims of gender based violence, domestic violence etc, aimed at connecting skilled girls to meet the needs of the labour market.

Selection Criteria

- Maximum application Age 15 to 24 years
- Female only
- Women living with disabilities.
- Victims of sexual abuse
- You must come from a marginalized background
- SSCE holder only

Our Courses


5 weeks
In-depth training on how to handle a camera professionally.

Graphic Design

7 weeks
They will learn principles and elements of design, and Introduced to the design tools.

Tech for girls
Other Skills

Soft Skills, Life Skills, SR&HE, Mentorship
Participants will learn core skills that will make them more aware.

Student Selection

This initiative has the following cycle Community Sensitization: The focus will be on underprivileged communities in Lagos State.

Mentorship Session: To engage guest speakers and learn from their experiences. Speakers will come from different sectors and from all works of lives.

Sexual Reproductive Health & Right Training: information regarding health and how to access youth friendly services. Help reduce pregnancy cases. Education about STD’s, gender based violence, domestic violence and others.

The School Activities: A curriculum which includes soft skills, life skills, basic ICT Skills and design skills.
